Welcome to our story! We're Ben and Jess, proud residents of the Darling Downs Region. We've been happily married for 14 years and are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Alexis and Ruby.
We are Darling Downs Precision, a family-owned and operated business based in Dalby, QLD, Australia. We specialise in the sale, installation, and service of Precision Ag Technology, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality solutions tailored to their needs.
In addition to our precision ag services, we are proud retailers of Arag Spray parts, including nozzles, nozzle bodies, and other sprayer plumbing components. We also offer a range of Ultra Vision Lighting and various electrical components to meet your equipment needs.

Meet Our Team
Ben Tarrant
Director
Raised on a cotton farm in Cecil Plains, Ben has always been passionate about the country and agriculture. His journey began with an apprenticeship as a diesel mechanic at McIntosh and Son, where his interest in Precision Ag Technology was sparked. After gaining valuable experience at Chesterfield and spending four years at Simplicity Australia, Ben has dedicated the past nine years to the Precision Ag Industry, bringing innovation and expertise to every project.
Zac Tarrent
Service Manager and Technical Support
As Ben's brother, Zac also grew up in the Darling Downs, sharing a love for agriculture. After completing an apprenticeship as a builder in Toowoomba, he explored new horizons by working on a farm for five years, followed by a stint in the gas industry. In 2020, Zac joined Ben at AgKnowledge Australia and has since been a key player in the Precision Ag Industry. Zac appreciates the diversity of his work at Darling Downs Precision, enjoying the challenge of working with a wide range of machinery, from tractors to sprayers, and the satisfaction of helping customers optimise their farming practices.
Michael Johnson
Service Technician
A Dalby boy through and through, Michael was born and raised in this vibrant community. After completing grade 12, he spent 12 years honing his skills in his family's hydraulic shop. Seeking a fresh challenge, Michael ventured into the Precision Ag Industry, where he now brings his expertise and enthusiasm to our team.
